Mind Warriors (Addlestone) CIC was created from lived experience and a simple belief that nobody should have to face life’s challenges alone.
We provide free emotional and mental health group sessions, mindfulness activities and opportunities for genuine human connection in a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental environment. Everyone is welcome, and every session includes complimentary refreshments to help people feel comfortable, relaxed and connected.
Mind Warriors (Addlestone) CIC provides free emotional and mental health group community sessions designed to bring people together in a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental environment.
Our sessions may include:
• Guest speakers sharing knowledge, experiences and practical wellbeing tools.
• Mindfulness and meditation sessions designed to promote relaxation, self-awareness and emotional support.
• Nature-based wellbeing activities that encourage connection with the outdoors and the many benefits it can bring to mental and emotional health such as – the tree scent lowers stress hormones and improves the immune system, the colour green reduces heart rate and blood pressure, fractal patterns found in leaves calms the brain and reduces mental fatigue, bird songs reduces activity in the amygdala restoring focus, and improving our mood as we are breathing in fresh air as trees filter pollutants delivering cleaner oxygen-rich air to our lungs.
• Opportunities to connect with others who understand the challenges that life can sometimes bring.
• Hybrid attendance options, allowing people to join either in person or online where available.
We also provide complimentary refreshments, creating a relaxed and friendly space where people can feel comfortable, connect with others and take time for themselves.
Whether someone attends regularly or joins us for the first time, our aim is to ensure everyone feels safe, welcomed, valued and supported.

Mind Warriors Addlestone has been a calm beacon of light for my mental health while I struggle and suffer the long waiting lists of conventional methods offered by GPs and the NHS.

Until I discovered Mind warriors I didn’t realise the lack of accessible support in our community. Mind warriors is a group that doesn’t just support at surface level, this goes deeper with education and ongoing support though WhatsApp group/Facebook so no one feels unheard, unseen or unsupported. When an individual is struggling, they need choice and a safe environment to build confidence and Autonomy to move forward and grow. This is the direction Mind warriors takes people in.

This support group has opened up opportunities that are not currently available in the local community. Being supported by people with similar stories is really helping me to not feel so alone. Professional therapy through the NHS has its place but having a community support group allows me to connect with others and get a different kind of support. There are lots of tips and advice and everything is done in a kind and gentle way with no pressure to share your story. I am grateful to have found this group.
