Personal Information Held Outside the Website
While our website does not collect personal information, Mind Warriors (Addlestone) CIC may hold
personal information provided directly by participants, volunteers, or individuals accessing our
services. Under the GDPR legal framework, directors, volunteers and participants can access
information held on them, via a subject access request. As per the GDPR, requests should be
processed and information provided within a 30-day period. If, due to exceptional circumstances we
are unable to fulfil this, we will let you know. Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (DUAA), the
rules have changed and there is now a stop the clock policy. This means that until the request,
identification information and in certain circumstances a fee are all obtained, (for example if the
request is manifestly unfounded or unreasonable), the request will be on pause. If all necessary
information is not provided the case can be closed. This rule also applies if the request is too broad
and the data controller needs to narrow it down.

proportionate searches, meaning there is no longer a duty to search every database and file. We will
ensure that we follow these new procedures.
If you wish to have copies of any information held on you, please let us know and we will provide you
with a form to ensure we provide you with the correct information.
